Camp will begin Sunday, August 3rd, 2008 and end Friday, August
8th, 2008. Campers may arrive at any time on Sunday. There will be free ground
transportation to and from the local bus, or train station that is located
in White River Jct, Vermont. For those who fly, we will transport you to and
from on of the two airports, Burlington, Vermont, or Lebanon New Hampshire.
Campers requiring transportation must give us prior notice of his or her arrival
and departure times.
Instruction
• Playing with other drummers, and a live band
• CD of your performance with a band and with your favorite song
• How to make a djembe, eat Ghanaian food, and learn the rhythms of Ghana-all
of this via our guest Jordan Mensah, a Ghanaian Native!
• Tuning acoustic drums
About The Equipment
• 14 drum sets available - Noble and Cooley,
Pearl, Ludwig, and Yamaha drums, all in excellent condition, are available.
• Double-bass drum pedals, and djembe,
along with a wide variety of percussion instruments from around the world.
Activities - These & More
• Swimming: 20x40 ft. heated in ground pool with
water slide and hot tub.
• Volley Ball, soccer, basketball
• Bonfire with percussion circle, and somemores!
About The Food & What is Included
Home -cooked meals are served family-style, three times
per day. Healthy snacks available at all times. Special meals available. Courtney
will be returning to the kitchen this year!
